Biography

In 1993 Dragos Grigoriu founded the ad agency Contrapunto, which changed its name to TEMPO in 1996. In that time he was also engaged as a consultant for media and entertainment, public relations, crisis and marketing strategy.  Prior to Contrapunto and TEMPO, Grigoriu headed the Client Services Department of BBDO Bucharest.

TEMPO was introduced into the Lürzer’s Archive and The Gunn Report in 1998 and was the Most Creative Agency in 2001 and 2003. Among the awards for its creative work, TEMPO won the Silver and Golden Award of Excellence at the Romanian PR Awards in 2004 and 2005, the Golden Drum and Golden Hammer in Slovenia and Latvia in 2004, was short listed during the Cresta Awards in 2004 and won the Best Ad award during the Mobius Awards.

Grigoriu received a degree in electronics, mathematics, physics and Romanian Language & Literature from the Liceul Mihai Viteazul in Bucharest in 1989.
